At Ghost Immobiliser Installations our mission is quite simple, keep what you've worked hard for.
With over 20 years experience in the automotive electrics accessory field, Ghost Immobiliser Installations are your vehicle retention specialists.
OEM vehicle security has improved over the last few years, but as technology advances and becomes more accessible, it also finds its way in to the wrong hands.
Relay attacks are an example of the misuse of technology used in automotive theft. Usually a team of two armed with a receiver, amplifier and a transmitter will trick the vehicle in to thinking the key is within range to unlock, start and drive away usually in under 30 seconds! All while you're fast asleep and your key sits on your bedside table.
Another threat is Sneak theft. As the name suggests offenders sneak in to homes through open doors or windows and simply steal keys from counter tops, bags or key hooks. This can also happen anywhere you may leave your keys, the top drawer of your desk, gym locker or even the top of your workshop toolbox.
With a carefully planned and executed installation, we can can make sure that your pride and joy isn't vulnerable to a relay or sneak attack.
The Ghost protects your car from key-cloning, hacking, and even key theft. The Ghost has no key-fobs or LED indications to give away its location. The Ghost uses the buttons in your vehicle such as those on the steering wheel, door panels or centre console, to allow you to make a unique, changeable, disarm sequence (like a PIN code) that must first be entered before you can drive your car. You can make your car disarm sequence even safer by making it up to 20 presses long!
The Autowatch Ghost II features
Immobilisation by communicating with the ECU.
Disarm sequence via buttons on steering wheel / dash.
No transmitted radio frequency signals.
Uses the on-board CAN data network.
User changeable disarm sequence.
Service / Valet mode means the disarm sequence is never compromised.
Secure, unique emergency code should the disarm sequence be forgotten.

Hi, I'm Peter. I'm the guy with the pink screwdriver.
My car audio/visual/security journey started back in 1999. Having had the privilege of working with some of the best installers of the era, I was able to feed my curiosity off the knowledge and experience they had gained decades earlier.
Having heard "that sound system's worth more than the car" on numerous occasions, it dawns on you pretty early that there are some people out there who want what you have more than you do, and without having to work for it either... Having picked up the security basics from my mentors, I discovered I had a drive and actually enjoyed the challenge of making vehicles as hard to steal as possible.
Throughout my journey I've obtained a Certificate II in Electronics (Automotive Accessories) and a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology. Most importantly I've gained a lot of experience along the way, the kind you just can't learn from books. I'm also a little fussy and I think my work shows this.
I started Ghost Immobiliser Installations to provide a higher level installation experience.
To achieve the experience I was aiming for, I needed to move away from the workshop environment and offer a mobile/onsite service. Primarily to cater for the enthusiasts who get anxious at the thought of leaving their pride and joy in an unfamiliar environment.
Having worked in numerous high turnover workshops, you come to realise there's always a time factor associated with every job that came through. Any installer will tell you how much they dislike the tap on the shoulder followed by "how much longer?".
Without these extra pressures I can now deliver a standard of work I'm truly happy with. No more hearing "it'll do" "that's good enough" or "I'm sure they won't mind" but instead I do the absolute best I can, every time.
